It is insane that these people can keep spending money that is not there. The point was also made that there is absolutely not enough staff to implement it, and that they amended the bill to require continuous funding to infinity. It was aptly called a zombie bill.

The bill would impose both civil and criminal penalties on any service station that did not post the required notices on each pump. Penalties of $500/day are possible for each violation.
Any customer can bring a complaint against the service station under this law. This is a good way to harass gas stations.
