I 100% share Jay’s immense frustration, and based on my own experiences being an activist/canvasser for the other side, I trust that his analysis is accurate. But it doesn’t help to attack/insult the people like Scott Presler and TPAction who may not understand what Jay is saying, but have done a ton of good work to get our numbers high enough…

Still watching the house debate on SB 003. They are up to 100+ amendments proposed by the Republicans in an attempt to limit the bad effects of this bill, and every one has been voted down by the house. Many of them on very questionable voice votes where the chair ruled against the amendment but the voice voted sounded (to me) in favor.

The part I listened to, the voice votes were much louder for those in favor.

It is insane that these people can keep spending money that is not there. The point was also made that there is absolutely not enough staff to implement it, and that they amended the bill to require continuous funding to infinity. It was aptly called a zombie bill.
